Finance Manager for Major Water Infrastructure Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial management for the Wyaralong water infrastructure project in South East Queensland. You will work closely with the Project Director and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial governance, budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control processes for the project.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, performance analysis and cash‑flow management.
• Manage project accounting, including revenue and cost recognition, reconciliations and financial close.
• Support commercial management of sub‑contracts, variations and claims.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and influence decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA ANZ) is desirable.
• Proven experience in project finance on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations and claims.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced financial reporting system expertise.
