About the role

The Finance Graduate Program 2027 at Mallesons offers a structured pathway into finance within a top‑tier law firm. Starting in February 2027, you will rotate through Treasury, Financial Accounting, FP&A and other operational areas, gaining hands‑on experience and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and work across all finance functions including matter accounting, treasury, accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing and analysing monthly management reports, group financial results and financial statements.
• Gather and analyse cost, pricing, expense and revenue data.
• Participate in finance projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Business‑related degree with a major in Accounting (or Business, Commerce, Economics).
• Willingness to enrol in the Australian CA/CPA program.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical abilities.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to immerse in learning opportunities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
