Finance Business Partner – Operations

About the role

CSR is seeking a Finance Business Partner – Operations to support its manufacturing sites in Queensland and Victoria. You will provide accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and performance monitoring to help operational leaders drive cost efficiencies and improve plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial and non‑financial data for monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts across manufacturing sites.
• Maintain the integrity of factory financials (P&L and Balance Sheet), including reconciliations and ledger accuracy.
• Support financial analysis on production costs, plant efficiency and material usage variances.
• Assist with standard costing processes across all factories.
• Coordinate stocktake and cycle‑count processes, ensuring strong controls and compliance.
• Identify cost‑reduction and profit‑improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide analysis and commentary for management reporting, highlighting risks, issues and variances.
• Support capital expenditure evaluations, including scenario analysis and pay‑back modelling.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and financial procedures.
• Partner with operations, engineering, logistics and finance teams to enhance business performance.
• Contribute to process improvements, system changes and master data governance.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial controlling principles.
• Advanced analytical ability with a track record of delivering actionable insights.

Required skills

• SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling modules.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
