Finance Business Partner

About the role

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support operational leaders in Brisbane, Melbourne and Campbellfield. The role provides financial insight, performance analysis and governance to drive sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial leaders to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and analyse business performance.
• Support month‑end activities, balance‑sheet reconciliation, financial controls and management reporting.
• Prepare financial analysis, business cases and schedules for management review.
• Deliver financial modelling for operational improvement initiatives and key projects.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, margins and volumes to identify risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with strong commercial finance experience in a complex, multi‑site organisation.
• 5+ years in management accounting, financial accounting or finance business partnering.
• Collaborative professional comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Clear communicator of financial information to non‑financial audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with JDE E1 or similar ERP/accounting systems.
