Finance Business Partner - Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Sodexo is hiring a Finance Business Partner for its Facilities Maintenance operations at the Balcatta Support Centre. The role is the strategic finance lead for a large, complex, multi-site contract portfolio, advising senior operational leaders on financial performance and commercial management. It works Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business case development and commercial analysis for Facilities Maintenance
• Evaluate investment decisions, workforce structures, subcontractor models, inventory management, asset investments and service delivery strategies
• Own the financial narrative: P&L performance, cost-driver analysis, forecasts, budgets and governance reporting
• Provide oversight of financial governance, compliance and risk management in line with Sodexo policies
• Drive financial accountability and support business transformation initiatives

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline
• 7+ years of finance business partnering, commercial finance, cost control or similar experience
• Demonstrated success influencing executive leaders in a large, complex environment
• Proven track record of delivering measurable financial outcomes

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Preferred: ERP systems such as SAP or similar
• Preferred: cost accounting, activity-based costing or operational cost management knowledge
• Preferred: familiarity with facilities maintenance metrics, KPIs and industry benchmarks
