Fieldwork Placement Supervisor – Community Services

About the role

The Fieldwork Placement Supervisor will act as the primary link between Community Services students, their placement organisations, and Up Education. Based at the Oxford Street Campus, you will ensure a positive and successful placement experience for each student.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with students, placement providers, and community stakeholders.
• Serve as the main liaison during placements, monitoring progress and addressing concerns.
• Support students with placement requirements, learning goals, and assessment expectations.
• Assess and grade placement‑related work and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and escalate placement issues for timely intervention.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in community work, social welfare, human services, social work or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant post‑qualification experience in the community services industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with InPlace platform.
• Familiarity with Moodle learning management system.
• Knowledge of RTO Manager software.
