Field Service Technician

About the role

KONE Doors Business is seeking a mechanically‑minded Field Service Technician to join its high‑performing team in Melbourne. You will service and maintain automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across a range of buildings, from low‑rise housing to skyscrapers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates.
• Respond to call‑outs and breakdowns, providing timely repairs.
• Perform installation and commissioning activities for new equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with KONE policies, health‑safety and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience in a maintenance or service role.
• Experience in the doors industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Valid driver’s licence and commitment to safe work practices.
• Customer‑service mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
