Field Service Technician – Industrial Maintenance

About the role

Dematic is looking for a qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter to join its field service team across the Sydney metro area. You will be the first point of contact for breakdowns, fault finding and preventative maintenance on warehouse and conveyor equipment, working independently while backed by a strong technical support team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding on site.
• Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance of conveyor and warehouse systems.
• Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical components of equipment.
• Complete basic service reports and communicate with customers.
• Support installations and commissioning when required.

Required profile

• Australian‑recognised Electrician or Mechanical Fitter qualification.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Hands‑on maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
