Field Service Technician – Industrial Electrical Support

About the role

Dematic is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to provide hands‑on customer service across the Sydney region. The role involves contract repairs, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown support for logistics and material handling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support including repairs, maintenance and installations for Dematic customers.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call roster and work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Maintain accurate records in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS) and ensure compliance with OHS standards.

Required profile

• Australian electrical trade licence (mandatory).
• Current driver’s licence and ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective client relationships.

Required skills

• PLC programming experience (desirable).
• Knowledge of automation, conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic systems and CMMS.
