Field Service Technician (Electrician – A Grade)

About the role

Rotork is seeking a Field Service Technician (Electrician – A Grade) to join its national team delivering prompt, effective service to customers in water, power, petrochemical and related industries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify faults, repair, test and modify field actuators.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on actuators and associated equipment.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical installations, including retrofit of components, pedestals and drive shafts.
• Produce accurate technical site visit reports for each job.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified WA Licensed Electrician (EEHA endorsement preferred).
• Willingness to travel locally and interstate with overnight stays; full valid driver’s licence required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering results to meet customer expectations.

Required skills

• Technical experience with valves, actuators and digital control systems.
• Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid‑power theory.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficiency with common test and calibration tools and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
