Fenestration Fabrication Apprentice

About the role

The Growth Company is recruiting a Fenestration Fabrication Apprentice to join its experienced team. You will be mentored by a professional fabricator who will support you until you are fully skilled and qualified in the industry. Successful completion of the Lean manufacturing Standard Level 2 with an NVQ in Fenestration opens the way to a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently or as part of a team
• Follow fabrication and assembly manuals from start to finish
• Learn to fabricate to the specifications set out by the company's system suppliers
• Develop techniques to produce products to a high standard that meets client requirements
• Keep the workplace clean and tidy
• Load and unload materials and perform general labouring
• Follow health and safety rules and regulations

Required profile

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent
• Logical, patient, enthusiastic and committed, with good communication, attention to detail, problem-solving and number skills
• Physical fitness and reliability
• Safety conscious and excellent timekeeping
