Family Office Tax Associate – Private Wealth

About the role

Join PwC Australia’s Family Office Tax team as an Associate, supporting families, entrepreneurs and private businesses with complex tax and wealth matters. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to tax compliance, strategic planning and client service across a range of high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with complex tax compliance issues and the preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
• Support the design and implementation of tax structures that align with clients’ commercial objectives.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office, representing clients during engagements and managing reporting obligations.
• Apply tax knowledge across all sectors of the Australian economy to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Developing understanding of Australian tax laws, especially for high‑net‑worth individuals, private clients and family offices.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate preparation of tax documentation.
• Ability to communicate tax concepts clearly to clients and team members.
• Client‑focused mindset with a genuine interest in building trusted relationships.
