Facade Engineer

About the role

Join the Brisbane Facades and Sustainability team as a Façade Engineer, delivering engineering solutions that meet client requirements within agreed timeframes and budgets. You will work on high‑profile, challenging projects across South East Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver façade and structural engineering design services, from concept development through detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications and construction support.
• Support project planning and manage resources for small projects or portions of larger projects.
• Prepare tender and design documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
• Coordinate production and revision of engineering designs by liaising with internal design teams.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships through professional and productive work.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in façade, structural or related building engineering, preferably in consultancy.
• Tertiary qualification in structural, civil or architectural engineering.
• Experience with curtain wall, glazing, cladding and specialist façade systems.
• Understanding of project management, budgeting and scheduling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience using BIM platforms.
• Knowledge of SpaceGass or similar structural analysis software.
