About the role

ARH Greater Western Sydney is seeking a full‑time, experienced Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team. This permanent position offers a fast‑paced environment where clinical confidence and calm under pressure are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critically ill and injured patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and assisting with procedures.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to deliver timely emergency treatments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support pet owners during stressful situations and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• At least 4 years of solid ECC experience.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy 24/7 environment.
• Team‑player attitude with a friendly approach.

Required skills

• Veterinary nursing expertise in emergency and critical care settings.
• Proficiency in patient monitoring, medication administration, and medical record keeping.
