About the role
Nepean is seeking an experienced conveyor belt splicer to join its mining maintenance team in Mackay, Queensland. This is a permanent, full‑time, on‑site position offering a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Perform conveyor belt splicing, repairs and routine maintenance on mining equipment.
- Ensure minimal production downtime by responding quickly to belt failures.
- Follow all safety and compliance procedures while working on‑site.
- Document work performed and maintain splicing records.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a belt splicer in an industrial or mining environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Mackay, Queensland with relocation assistance provided.
- Ability to work on‑site full‑time and adhere to shift schedules.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
