About the role
Thiess is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the production crew at Caval Ridge Mine in Queensland. You will provide operational and safety leadership, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently while fostering a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities
- Champion safety management plans and procedures across the operation.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and lead the crew.
- Ensure production targets are achieved and conduct toolbox and pre‑start talks.
- Perform statutory inspections of the open‑cut operation.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading a high‑performance mining team.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and community standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Required skills
- Experience with computer‑based data and management tools such as Infomine.
