Experienced Analyst – Internal Audit (Darwin)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced analyst to join Deloitte’s Internal Audit team in Darwin. You will work on a variety of projects for clients across government, non‑profit, energy, resources, infrastructure and defence sectors, applying audit expertise to deliver high‑impact outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit engagements for local and national projects across multiple industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with national team members and client stakeholders.
• Provide client‑facing responsibilities, including gathering information and presenting findings.
• Lead and mentor junior team members throughout audit cycles.
• Contribute to the team’s culture and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of business processes and control frameworks.
• Ability to apply an insights‑driven approach to control assessment and real‑time analysis.
• Proven stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
