Executive Manager, Crew Lead, Complex Investigations

About the role

CommBank is looking for an Executive Manager, Crew Lead, Complex Investigations to lead its Economic Crime investigations capability. The role shapes smarter ways of working through data, automation, improved workflow and decision support, and brings together business, operations, technology, data and risk to improve investigation quality, speed and consistency at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, performance and delivery outcomes for the crew.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team spanning product, technology, data, risk, operations, delivery and change.
• Translate strategic objectives into quarterly plans, squad priorities, delivery milestones and performance measures.
• Shape and prioritise a backlog balancing transformation, operational resilience, regulatory delivery, risk reduction and customer impact.
• Establish governance across planning, delivery, controls, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and executive reporting.
• Use data and metrics to monitor performance and support executive decision-making.
• Build partnerships across Economic Crime, Technology, Risk, Data and Operations, and foster an accountable, engaged crew culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading large-scale product, technology, operations or transformation teams.
• Strong record of delivering customer, regulatory, risk or business outcomes through multidisciplinary teams.
• Strategic, commercial and operational judgement, with executive-level stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in financial crime, investigations, banking, workflow, automation or technology-enabled operational change is highly regarded.
