Executive, Financial Management COO Team

About the role

The Financial Management (FM) Chief Operating Office is a specialist team that develops and delivers the FM vision and its strategic priorities, partnering with the FM Management team and senior stakeholders to strengthen governance and enable the function to operate at scale. As an Executive based in Sydney, you will support the operational management of FM by working closely with FM divisions across financial and workforce management, operations and strategic enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Own workforce management activities, including headcount and recruitment tracking
• Support budgeting and forecasting for FM, providing information and insights for planning and decision-making
• Identify and drive opportunities to use AI, automation and technology to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Oversee and coordinate key operational processes, including business resilience planning and records management

Required profile

• Prior experience in a similar role, with strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
• Demonstrated experience using AI and emerging technologies to reduce manual processes and support commercial outcomes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound judgement and integrity
• Proactive, adaptable approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Required skills

• Strong numerical, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using data and tools such as PowerBI to produce insights for senior stakeholders
