Executive Analyst – Public Sector Advisory

About the role

KordaMentha is seeking an Executive Analyst to join its growing Public Sector Advisory team in Brisbane. You will work on projects that shape policy, investment decisions and organisational transformation for government clients, gaining direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns and develop evidence‑based insights.
• Produce high‑quality reports, presentations, business cases, evaluations and operating models.
• Support stakeholder interviews, workshops and consultation activities, communicating confidently with senior government clients.
• Manage defined project tasks, prioritize work and flag risks or issues early.
• Contribute ideas to proposals, research and knowledge development, and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of consulting experience with a track record of structured problem‑solving and client delivery.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in economics, business, commerce, finance, international relations, politics or public policy.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with both qualitative and quantitative information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to produce concise, well‑structured reports and presentations.
• Passion for the public sector and a collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset.
