Events Manager – FARRA

About the role

The Events Manager will own the operational delivery of events across Hyde Perth and FARRA, ensuring each event runs smoothly from set‑up to pack‑down while delivering a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead event days, coordinating staff, suppliers, timing, service and operational requirements.
• Manage event staffing – rostering, briefing, training and on‑the‑day supervision.
• Oversee beverage ordering, stock preparation, set‑up and reconciliation.
• Work with Sales, F&B Operations, Bar and Restaurant managers to align delivery with client expectations.
• Support planning and execution of ticketed events, activations, seasonal experiences and brand‑led events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in events coordination or management within hospitality or hotels.
• Strong people‑management and leadership skills, able to train and motivate casual teams.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Managers Red Card.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, especially Sep‑Mar peak season.

Required skills

• Knowledge of iVvy event management system (desirable).
• Familiarity with SevenRooms reservation platform (desirable).
• Experience with Purchase Plus or similar inventory/purchasing systems (desirable).
