Estimator for National Major Projects

About the role

The Estimator will support Holcim's Major and Mobile Projects Division by managing tendering, planning and sourcing for large‑scale infrastructure projects. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure projects align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess drawings and specifications to produce bills of material (BOMs) and evaluate constructability.
• Develop estimates, approval documentation and tender packages for precast products.
• Prepare and submit tender submissions, liaising with procurement and project teams.
• Create production plans that meet business targets and identify improvement initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, minimise risk exposure and ensure records are current and stored correctly.

Required profile

• Qualification in Process, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Practical experience in prestressed, precast or reinforced concrete, or related heavy‑industrial manufacturing.
• Interest in project management from inception to completion.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• AutoCAD – ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
