Estate Upkeep Supervisor

About the role

Join Downer as an Estate Upkeep Supervisor, leading maintenance activities and subcontractor performance across Defence sites in NSW/ACT and QLD. This permanent position is based in Williamtown and supports the delivery of high‑quality estate services for the Australian Defence Force.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Service Delivery Partners, manage contractor access, bookings and escort requirements.
• Prepare NODs, review and approve permits for planned maintenance activities.
• Track monthly PPM performance, compliance, planning and allocation.
• Follow up outstanding service documentation, defects and manage fault note closure.
• Liaise with key stakeholders on maintenance records, compliance evidence, ROA and data management.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities or estate management within Defence or similar sectors.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Positive work ethic and attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of maintenance planning and asset management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
