Estate Planning Lawyer

About the role

Axiom is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Lawyer to join its legal technology team, advising private clients on wills, trusts and complex estate matters. The role starts as a full‑time engagement for 3–6 months with the possibility of extending to a longer‑term position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored advice to private clients on wills, estate planning and succession matters, considering their personal circumstances and family objectives.
• Guide clients through probate, letters of administration and other estate administration processes, explaining options and supporting each stage.
• Leverage senior technical expertise to enhance the quality of the legal offering and mentor the team on complex matters.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in legal workflows, including the use of technology and AI.

Required profile

• 6–8 years post‑admission experience in estates and administration, capable of managing complex matters independently.
• Proven track record advising private clients on wills, estate planning and succession, with hands‑on experience drafting wills and handling probate and estate administration.
• Strong judgement, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate sensitively with clients.
• Interest in delivering legal services efficiently at scale within a fast‑growing, technology‑led environment.
