ESG Analyst

About the role

As an ESG Analyst you will turn data into insights that help the business reduce environmental impact, strengthen social outcomes, and meet regulatory requirements. You will work across teams to collect, validate, and translate ESG data into clear reporting and practical actions.

Key responsibilities

• Map ESG data across the organisation, including Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions, energy use, waste and product lifecycle data.
• Collect, validate and analyse ESG metrics for internal and external reporting and build dashboards that provide clear visibility of performance.
• Prepare validated datasets for reporting frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, IFRS, TCFD and CDP and maintain reporting records.
• Maintain ESG systems, dashboards and data platforms, improving data quality and supporting integration into broader business systems.
• Support compliance with sustainability and climate‑related regulations, ensuring data is audit‑ready.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, data analytics or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and proactive with a structured problem‑solving approach.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a genuine interest in sustainability.

Required skills

• Strong Excel capability.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of carbon accounting and ESG reporting frameworks.
