Entry-Level Product Support (Automotive)

About the role

Join Volkswagen Group Australia as an Entry‑Level Product Support specialist, providing technical assistance to our national dealer network across Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, Cupra and commercial vehicles. This hybrid position blends hands‑on diagnostics with remote support, offering a pathway to become a fully certified product supporter.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver front‑line Level 1 technical support for dealer diagnostics, repairs and processes.
• Use DISS, ODIS and ELSA systems to resolve technical queries.
• Perform hands‑on diagnostics in the Technical Service Centre and assist dealers remotely via TeamViewer.
• Identify emerging technical trends and escalate issues to the manufacturer.
• Create and adapt Technical Product Information (TPIs) for the Australian market.
• Support warranty enquiries, workshop processes, special tools and technical standards.
• Assist with press and sales vehicle launch preparation.
• Ensure exceptional customer outcomes through effective case resolution.
• Travel interstate and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Trained Volkswagen Group technician (VW, Audi, Cupra or Škoda).
• Minimum diagnostic level; Master Technician status highly regarded.
• Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with VW diagnostic systems such as ODIS, ELSA and DISS.
