Entry-Level Product Design Engineer

About the role

Join Rheem’s R&D team in Rydalmere as an Entry‑Level Product Design Engineer. You will support the creation, documentation, and testing of new and improved products, working closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs and test plans.
• Support PLM system updates and manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECN).
• Assist with prototyping, laboratory testing, data analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to product development projects, ensuring milestones are met.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor changes affecting existing products.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA) and root‑cause investigations.
• Provide technical support during product launches and early production.

Required profile

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in sustainability and energy‑efficient product design.
