Entry Level IT Service Desk Analyst (12-month Fixed Term)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level IT Service Desk Analyst to join our national Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth, you will be the first point of contact for internal technology support, delivering excellent customer service across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software and Microsoft-based applications.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices and business applications.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge articles.
• Operate within an ITIL Service Management framework.
• Support users across multiple office locations and contribute to continual improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 1-2 years’ experience in an IT Service Desk, Desktop Support or similar role, or a recent graduate with relevant internship experience.
• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Passion for technology and a desire to develop your career.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework and IT Service Management principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and standard desktop hardware/software.
