Enterprise Accounts Leader, West Region

About the role

The Enterprise Accounts Leader will head the Enterprise Accounts business across the Western region, partnering with large private hospital networks and buying groups to drive growth for Medtronic’s Medical Surgical, Cardiovascular and Neuroscience portfolios. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne and requires travel throughout Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a regional team of Strategic Account Managers.
• Develop and execute regional sales and account strategies to meet AOP targets.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with private hospital networks and key stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations and execution of strategic commercial agreements and enterprise contracts.
• Identify growth opportunities using customer insights, market intelligence and account analytics.
• Oversee commercial proposal development, pricing strategies, financial modelling and risk management.
• Monitor forecasts, account plans and business performance to achieve financial and operational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in senior sales, commercial leadership or strategic account management.
• 5+ years leading sales or commercial teams with direct leadership of sales professionals.
• Proven experience developing and executing commercial strategies, forecasts, budgets and territory plans.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with executive‑level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
