Enrolled Nurse - Home Care, Randwick

About the role

Randwick is looking for experienced and highly skilled Enrolled Nurses to provide high-quality care to clients living in their own homes in the Randwick area. The position covers a 24/7 client with active overnight shifts and rosters during public holidays, so it requires a commitment of 38 hours per week. It is a casual position with a competitive salary and quick processing of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised care and support tailored to the client's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as personal care and household tasks.
• Deliver complex care, including ventilator use, tracheostomy care and stoma care.
• Monitor the client's health by watching vital signs and changes in condition, and document all relevant information.
• Work closely with the wider care team to coordinate care effectively.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-care or complex care environment.
• Strong understanding of person-centred care principles, with a focus on individual rights and autonomy.
• Flexibility across shift times (24/7 service) and willingness to travel to the Randwick area.
• 38 hours per week availability preferred.
• Current First Aid Certificate; COVID-19 vaccination plus booster preferred.

Required skills

• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Satisfactory background checks: Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check.
