Engineering Manager – Sustainable Water Infrastructure

About the role

ACCIONA Agua is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function on major water infrastructure projects in Melbourne, Australia. The role combines technical leadership with project delivery oversight to ensure safe, innovative and commercially sound solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical direction for design management, engineering governance and constructability.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet safety, innovation and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
• Oversee project delivery phases, including major tender and construction activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex water or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of engineering processes and project delivery in the construction sector.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
