Engineering Manager

About the role

Our Digital Bank team is at the forefront of revolutionising the banking experience for millions of customers. As an Engineering Manager you will own the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the team’s products and platforms, while also leading hiring, retention and growth of an engineering team of 20‑40 engineers across multiple squads.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of products and platforms.
• Lead hiring, retention, growth and development of 20‑40 engineers across 2‑4 teams.
• Mentor engineers, dive deep into technical problems and provide leadership on complex technology issues.
• Ensure alignment with overall system architecture and business needs.

Required profile

• Experience managing multiple software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background, preferably Java‑based.
• Proven success delivering complex engineering initiatives in a team environment.
• Product company experience with Agile development of scalable, maintainable web applications.
• Computer science education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in wealth banking software is valued.
