Endpoint Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Endpoint Engineering Specialist will manage day‑to‑day operations of customer endpoint systems, provide technical support, and contribute to projects that modernise the end‑user experience across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade and enhance enterprise‑wide configurations, policies, firmware, drivers and automation scripts via Microsoft Intune.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through timely, professional responses.
• Identify service improvements, cost reductions and follow ITIL change/release processes.
• Perform hardware and OS upgrades, maintain desktop images (physical and virtual) and support large‑scale software deployments.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date documentation such as designs, how‑tos, risk registers and roadmaps.
• Occasional travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences.

Required profile

• Australian citizen able to obtain Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
• Minimum 2 + years experience in SOE migrations, projects and implementation.
• Minimum 1 + year experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

• Windows 10 task sequencing and endpoint configuration
• Citrix (nice‑to‑have)
• M365 (advantageous)
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, certificate services
