About the role

APM Group is recruiting an Employment Consultant for its Inclusive Employment Australia program at the Werribee VIC site. The role supports people with disability to secure sustainable employment, matching individuals with suitable jobs and helping them build confidence and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Support participants with disability to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment
• Help participants see their strengths, overcome obstacles and take on their new employment with renewed purpose
• Provide creative solutions to employment challenges so each participant has the tools and support they need
• Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments
• Build partnerships with companies passionate about diversity and inclusion

Required profile

• A champion of diversity and inclusion who believes everyone deserves a chance to succeed
• A natural connector who creates opportunities for participants and speaks confidently to stakeholders
• Innovative and solutions-focused, seeing challenges as opportunities
• Compassionate and empathetic, wanting to make a lasting positive impact
• Experience in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development or administration is an advantage
