About the role
Join APM Employment Services as an Employment Consultant supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants in Melbourne. You will deliver culturally safe, holistic services that help participants overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide culturally safe, holistic support to participants to help them achieve sustainable employment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
- Develop tailored employment plans that create culturally safe pathways.
- Enhance participants' employability skills and provide ongoing support to employers.
- Deliver services in line with contractual and compliance requirements.
Required profile
- Current probationary or open Australian driver’s licence and insured vehicle (or willingness to discuss).
- Willingness to complete a National Police check and obtain a MyID (standard level).
- Ability to pass a Working with Children check.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
