About the role

This full‑time Emergency Medicine Registrar position is based in a modern 200+ bed hospital serving a coastal Queensland community of over 200,000 residents. The role offers broad clinical exposure, professional development and a balanced lifestyle in a subtropical, family‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acute emergency care across a diverse range of presentations.
• Participate in the PHO (Primary Health Organisation) framework to coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality treatment.
• Engage in on‑call rotations and flexible rostering to support service demands.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration (Level 3 supervision preferred).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Eligibility for the Competent Authority Pathway is strongly encouraged.

• Base salary ranging from $129,583 to $150,240 AUD per year.
