About the role
Control Risks is seeking an Embedded Executive Protective Officer (EPO) to provide dedicated security support for senior executives and designated personnel across APAC and global locations. The EPO will be fully integrated within client environments, delivering protective intelligence, executive protection, and travel security.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and implement executive protection plans, travel risk assessments, security advances and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate domestic and international executive travel security, including itinerary reviews, route planning, venue and accommodation assessments, secure transport and local support.
- Accompany executives and provide discreet protective support during travel, meetings, events and other activities.
- Maintain situational awareness of geopolitical, crime, civil unrest, health and other security developments affecting personnel.
- Support protective intelligence activities, threat monitoring, risk assessments and executive threat profiling.
- Liaise with client stakeholders, executive support teams, external vendors, local authorities and security providers to coordinate protective measures.
- Assist in incident and crisis response, including emergency communications, evacuation planning and coordination of medical or security assistance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; executive protection certification preferred.
- Proven experience in executive protection, protective intelligence, diplomatic protection, law enforcement, military, intelligence or corporate security.
- Strong threat assessment, situational awareness and risk management capabilities with sound judgement under pressure.
- Experience planning and supporting domestic and international executive travel, including security advances and local provider coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, operate discreetly and independently in dynamic environments and irregular hours.
- High professionalism, integrity and discretion handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Valid driving licence and ability to travel regularly at short notice.
