Elevated Work Platform Operator – 15m

About the role

The Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone Transmission Project is seeking experienced Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Operators to support construction activities at heights up to 15 m. This is a remote‑project position based in the Mudgee region, operating on a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Operate EWPs (boom lifts and scissor lifts) up to 15 m to provide safe access for construction work.
• Position equipment accurately on structures and infrastructure.
• Perform pre‑start checks and routine maintenance of EWP equipment.
• Coordinate tasks with site crews, operators and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, SWMS and working‑at‑heights protocols.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating EWPs, including boom lifts or scissor lifts up to 15 m.
• Valid EWP ticket/licence (WP where applicable).
• Experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects, preferably within renewable energy.
• Ability to work on a 14‑on/7‑off roster and travel to the site as needed.
