Electrical Engineer – Platforms

About the role

KBR is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Platforms) to support critical Electrical Platform Systems for the DASSPO CLCM Products Being Supported (PBS). You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, providing expert technical guidance on sustainment activities and complex engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise and technical guidance for platform systems engineering, delivering engineering outputs for schedule‑driven changes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, plans, and processes, overseeing configuration control, certification, and fitness‑for‑purpose assessments.
• Manage systems‑engineering processes including requirements, integration, verification, validation, test and evaluation for electrical engineering.
• Review subcontractor quotations and deliverables, conduct design reviews, and perform technical risk assessments.
• Lead platform field services activities and support decision‑making for the DASSPO Principal Engineer.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) in an electrical engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Defence or marine design and maintenance.
• Eligibility for ITAR clearance and an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance (Baseline or higher).
• Membership or eligibility for a recognised professional engineering body.
