Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

About the role

A privately owned building services consultancy in the Sutherland Shire is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join its team. The firm designs and oversees the installation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services, working on complex healthcare, education and commercial projects. The role sits directly under a director who has spent more than 20 years at tier-one consultancies, with two junior engineers below you, giving a clear path to Senior.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical building services and oversee their installation, from cradle to grave, including witnessing and commissioning
• Work on healthcare, education and commercial projects
• Learn ASP3, design management and project management alongside electrical design
• Own your work from day one and lead most elements of a project with little supervision

Required profile

• At least three years of building services electrical design experience
• Ideally some experience with ASP3 projects
• Permanent resident of Australia or Australian citizen
• Current role is acceptable if you do not have a CV

What we offer

• Salary of $110,000 to $140,000 plus superannuation and bonus
• Hours of 8:30am to 5pm with no expectation of overtime
