Dump Truck Operator - 2/1 FIFO Mining

About the role

IronMerge is recruiting experienced dump truck operators for ongoing 2/1 FIFO opportunities across several mining operations in Western Australia. The work suits reliable, safety-focused operators with proven open pit production mining experience and confidence driving large haul trucks in busy load and haul environments. Rosters run from Perth on 2/1 cycles, covering gold and iron ore projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in open pit mining
• Experience operating mechanical drive and/or electric drive haul trucks
• Current Australian driver's licence
• National police clearance, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
• Strong safety focus and reliable work history
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a production mining team
• Availability to FIFO from Perth on a 2/1 roster

Required skills

• Operating CAT 785, 789 and 793, or Liebherr T264, or equivalent trucks (highly regarded)
• Operating large production dump trucks in load and haul operations
