Domestic Worker

About the role

Your Nursing Agency Cairns places qualified PCWs and DSWs with clients in the community. This domestic worker position provides high-quality cleaning and domestic support services in clients' homes, helping them maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living areas
• Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding and ironing
• Change bed linen and make beds
• Assist with light kitchen duties such as dishes, wiping surfaces and emptying bins
• Support clients to keep their home safe and comfortable
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients
• Report any changes in clients' home environments or wellbeing

Required profile

• Reliable and detail oriented
• Current police clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Current Working with Children's and NDIS clearances, or willingness to obtain them
• Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel across Cairns and surrounding areas, including Kuranda and the Tablelands
• Domestic assistance experience is desirable
