Domestic Assistant – Home Care

About the role

Mercy Health is looking for a Domestic Assistant to support its Home Care clients who want to live independently at home. The role provides domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties, with ongoing support from a dedicated service team. It is a casual position with flexible hours and a minimum of 3 weekday availability.

Required profile

• Reliable, resilient and genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in the community
• A warm, empathetic and person-centred approach
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families
• Collaborative spirit within a team-focused culture
• Your own car and a valid driver's licence

• First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
• NDIS workers screening check
• NDIS Orientation Module completion certificate
• Car insurance and registration
• Workers' rights
