Disability Support Specialist – OT, Speech Therapist or RN

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled professional to join our client’s team in Australia to provide dedicated support for both children and adults with autism. The role offers flexible living arrangements, with the option for live‑in accommodation (private bedroom and ensuite bathroom) or independent local rental.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialized daily support and behavioral assistance tailored to children and adults on the autism spectrum.
• Conduct specialized toilet training programs and manage comprehensive personal care needs with dignity and respect.
• Implement support strategies that align with therapeutic goals to enhance the client’s quality of life.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment within the home.

Required profile

• Hold at least one of the following credentials: Qualified Occupational Therapist, Qualified Speech Therapist, or Registered Nurse (RN) with direct autism care experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in disability care or relevant clinical practice.
• Proven hands‑on experience in toilet training techniques for individuals with autism.
• Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult clients.
• Willingness to handle hands‑on personal hygiene and daily living support.
