Director – Transformation

About the role

As a Transformation Director you will lead complex, client‑facing engagements for government agencies and public‑sector organisations, helping them design, optimise and deliver large‑scale transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑performing teams to design and deliver complex transformation engagements, ensuring quality deliverables and outcomes.
• Drive business development through client relationship building, proposal development and participation in government procurement processes.
• Contribute to firm‑wide strategy, practice leadership and market positioning in transformation.
• Mentor and develop consulting teams, enhancing capability across the transformation delivery framework.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting or senior government roles, with recent Director‑level experience.
• Deep domain expertise in the public sector and proven leadership of multi‑stakeholder government transformation programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen, ability to shape, price and grow a portfolio of work, and existing relationships with senior Australian government officials.

Required skills

• Advanced PowerPoint skills for high‑impact presentations.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
