Diploma Educator - Early Learning Centre

About the role

BFS Children's Services is looking for a Diploma Educator to join its Bulli Early Learning centre, an 'Exceeding NQS' rated service in Bulli. The centre is purpose-built with a large natural outdoor space, trees and landscaped gardens, an outdoor art studio focused on the creative arts, and a transition-to-school program embedded in daily experiences, with smartboards and iPads available to children. The role is permanent and full-time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality education and care to all children
• Contribute to planning educational programs that support a child's learning and help them meet their goals
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community

Required profile

• A cleared valid for paid work, NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
• A cleared National Criminal Record Check
• Demonstrated commitment to protecting children from abuse, harm and neglect
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
• Details of at least two referees, one of whom must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace
• A fun-loving attitude and dedication to the wellbeing of children, families and the community
