VET Facilitator - Massage Therapy Courses

About the role

Endeavour College of Natural Health, a provider of higher education in natural health, is recruiting a VET Facilitator in Melbourne. The role delivers practical training and supervises clinical skills sessions for students on vocational courses such as the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and the Diploma of Remedial Massage, supporting them to build safe, professional and industry-relevant skills.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate practical skills sessions and practice classes for students
• Demonstrate industry techniques, protocols and professional practices
• Supervise and train students during practical and simulated activities, including in the Endeavour Wellness Clinics
• Support students to develop safe work practices, communication skills, professional behaviour and client care techniques
• Assess and mark practical and/or theory-based assessments in line with training package and organisational requirements
• Carry out all activities in line with organisational policies, workplace health and safety requirements and relevant VET standards

Required profile

• Diploma of Remedial Massage or a related field (e.g. Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
• 2 years full-time (or equivalent) industry experience in a relevant field
• Current practicing membership of a relevant professional body for remedial massage practitioners, myotherapists or soft tissue therapists
• Saturday availability (8:30-4:00); the position is an independent contract requiring your own ABN
