Diploma Educator - Early Childhood Centre

About the role

Village Early Education Eureka is looking for Diploma-qualified Educators to join its team. The centre provides early childhood education and care in a nurturing environment, and the educator delivers engaging, developmentally appropriate programmes that support children's growth and well-being while working with a team of educators.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement educational programmes that match the interests and developmental needs of the children
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Observe and document children's progress and use this to inform planning and support individual needs
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Work with the team to improve the centre's educational practices and policies
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Required profile

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain them)
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and education frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
