Casual Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Village Early Education Eureka is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated educators holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join its team in a casual capacity. The role centres on nurturing young minds and supporting children to thrive in a warm, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based and age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with each room's programs, routines and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages positive interactions with children, families and colleagues
• Observe, document and reflect on children's learning and development to adapt educational experiences
• Work with the team to keep the centre running smoothly and contribute to a respectful workplace culture
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment in line with health, safety and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain them)
• Previous experience in an early childhood setting is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
