Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

Suncorp’s Customer, Brand & Digital team is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to own the end‑to‑end performance of paid search activity across Australia. You will translate business and customer objectives into high‑performing SEM campaigns and continuous optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day delivery of paid search media on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, aligning with business and brand goals.
• Build and manage campaign structures, bidding strategies, budgets and pacing to meet CPA, conversion and profitability targets.
• Audit accounts regularly, identify optimisation opportunities and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Forecast investment, recommend reallocations and produce weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Stay ahead of platform developments and AI‑driven features, guiding adoption across the team.

Required profile

• At least four years of hands‑on experience managing paid search accounts in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
• Proven track record of managing significant budgets and delivering performance against targets.
• Strong understanding of privacy, consent, brand safety and governance in a regulated environment.
• Experience in insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors is highly regarded.
